After hearing out the concept of talkie town … I was so much excited to give a speech …. and then i got a chance just after a week …..
i jumped on to the opportunity and accepted it ….. but later i was bit confused … on what to talk …. which topic to choose … after … some online/offline research …
i got a chance to read an article on why people fail always even though they are talented ….. why they give up early while facing difficult problems …. .. then i got my topic ….. ” Why life is soooo Unfair” …… i read everything that came to my search …… prepared on what to talk and everything … even the night before the speech i was reading all the stuff regarding my topic on the internet … collecting different types of info …..
at last i made up mind on what to talk and how to present and everything …….
During ….
fortunately or unfortunately i donno but i was given the chance to speak first … i was a bit nervous as this is the 1st time I’m speaking on this type of topic n this kind of speech …. in college and office also … i had given many presentations but all of them were technical …. so i was nervous and also I’m facing an unfamiliar crowd … even though 2-3 frds of mine were also sitting … but most of them are ….. unfamiliar to me ……. at last i started …… frankly speaking .. it was not great start …….. at least not the start that i thought off …. may be becoz of my nervousness … i didn’t started off very well …… but it is a decent start ….. after 2-3 mins of my speech ….. i observed that ppl startd reacting to my speech …. ppl were listening ….. ppl started laughing at my jokes ….. that give me confidence and i took it from there ….. till the end …. i was sooper confident and completed my speech …… i think every one liked it and most imply … everyone enjoyed it ….. may be some minor hiccups here and there …… but overall i gave a good speech.

every one congratulated me … saying that it was a good speech ….. i collected my pros n cons frm my friends …. and after the speech i donno why but i felt very good … i felt my day was complete ……… as if achieved … some thing grt ….. 😛

Do you ever thought … some like this in ur life …. why life is unfair to me …. or something like ….. why always bad things happen to me … why always bad situations come to me … why always my appraisal rating ends up in VG+ but not an excellent …… why always the gal i like has a boy friend already ……
Frankly speaking we do … feel like this at one or other point of time in life ….
but is it really true ??? ….. life can be fair or unfair to ppl …. ??
believe me there is nothing like that …. !!!!!!!!!!!!
life is fair or unfair ….. becoz we believe it so …
Let me tell u small incident that happened in my life …. which explains you clearly … what is this concept …. ????
when i was in my engineering 2nd yr ….. i used to have three bst frds … sunil, Tj, suresh …… we used to hangout a lot … we used to njoy alot .. and also we shd to study together
In our 2nd yr 2nd sem …. there was a electronic sub in our syllabus …. i dont remember the subject name also ….. but basically we are from cse …. and a electronic subject for cse student is like hell … that too
…. that subject was very hard …… on day one of class itself …. it showed some indication that ….. this subject is going to torture us …. in the final exam …. we thought … for now let it goo … we will see later …. but days passed faster than we thought … final exam was in to picture …. soon !!!!!
tomorrow was the exam …. we still donno what to do ….. finally we thought … okey lets try .. so we meet at one of ur frds place for combined study …. generally … at combined studies
… everything but studies happen ….. but that day we really thought of studying ….. and then … we placed this big book in front of us ….
All in one …… this is one of the grt book as the name tells …. all subs in one book ….. it consists of everything that is required by an engineering student to pass the exam …..
it was like a holy book to all engg students ….. so we tried to study … half an hour passed …. 1 hr passed 2 hr passed …. we are not getting it ….. we are trying
… but that subject was very hard to us ….. we are not able to crack it 😛 … after so much trouble …may be we studied some 10-15 questions ….. but it was not happening so … at last we gave up …. we thought …. okey lets see what happens in tomm exam …. but at that point of time i thought why life is sooo unfair to me …. why this sub shd be in our syllabus … why this sub shd be this much tough ………. why so ??? ….. i donno …
Next day ….
We went to the exam hall …. we sat down ….. luckily we all were seated in the same class … me, sunil,tj,suresh … and then the invigilator …. came …. gave us the
question papers …… generally in jntu engineering exam … they will be 8 ques ….. out of which we have to answer 5 …. each carries 16 marks … so out of 80 marks we have score at least 28 to pass … that means we have to write at least 2 correct answers …..
so …. question paper is in front of us …. we started reading …. 1st ques …2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th 8th …. out …. all are out of syllabus….. it means they are out of
“OUR” syllabus ….. 😛
we donno … what to do … we looked at each other faces … we felt happy and sad .. at the same time …. sad becoz …. we donno anything … happy becoz …. our frd also donoo anything 😛 ….. we tried .. we tried … at last we gave up …….. i gave off the paper 1st ….. didn’t write anything …. and next sunil followed and next tj followed …
we three were waiting … outside the class … for suresh ….. but he was not coming … 45 mins passed …. 1 hr …. 1:30 hr … still he was inside …. we are still waiting for him …. …… then some strange thoughts run through our minds ….. what is he doing …… sunil was saying like yesterday after our failed combined session …. may be he went home and studied …. he cheated us …..
and then tj reacted like …. no rey … see that gal beside him …. he was just doing some time pass man …. he will be out in 15-20 mins …. but after 2 hrs also he didn’t come out … at last … we got feed up and we left … but i was so sure that …. like us … he too didn’t study anything ….. but wat was he doing inside ……
that was the big question ……..
after complete 3 hrs … he came out and we didn’t discuss ….. abt the exam …we thought … he was just doing some timepass ….. or wrote some nonsense in the paper …
after some days …. results were out ….. i was the topper …. among the 3 of us …. me, sunil, tj …. i scored 20marks but failed … sunil stood at 13 … tj got some 17 i think soo … anyway we three failed ……
but suresh ….. yes …..he passed …. he scored 35 marks ….. after seeing ….. his marks .. i was totally anxious to know what happened on that day …. what was he doing inside …… what happened from hour 2 to hour 3 in the exam …….
i went straight up to him and asked him …… how u passed …. how happened on that day ….
suresh reply …… in his words ..
” in exam …. out of the 8 questions …. 2 question are from that 10-15 question which we have studied on the day before ……. u fools … u gave up in the starting itself ….. before coming to the exam itself …… u ppl have decided that we will definitely fail in the exam …. so u gave up …. at least u didn’t read the questions properly
……. u didnt give it a try also ….. at 1st i too thought the same …. but i have tried ….. didn’t give up …. after carefully reading all the questions … i got that two and answered them”
ooh …… this was a miracle …. 2 out of the 10-15 questions we studied …. this was a miracle in jntu history …. this is something like rohit sharma hitting a century in a foreign ground 😛 😛 …… this kind of things happen once in life time …. if u were present at that time …. to witness this kind of things …. i think ur the luckiest person on the planet …
jokes apart …. at that point of time after hearing what suresh said ….. i really felt ….. he was right … we didnt try …. we just gave up on that day !!!!!
suppose there is a work related prob in office ….. what we do …. we try n try to solve it …. if we are unable to solve it … we lose hope and we leave it …. but when
people come and ask … whether u have solved that problem or not ….. what we say … we never say that … i cannot solve it … I’m incompetent to solve it …..
instead of that … we say life is soo unfair to me ….. that … im getting this kind of problems … what i can do ….
see … u tried to solve the prob … u cannot solve it ….. u gave up at last … what life has do with it ….
it is quite humiliating for us to accept that we weren’t competent enough to solve our problems ….. so we blame life for that ….
there is a good quotation abt life ….. life is not what u expect but it is what u get ……
so ….. in life …. there will be all kinds of situations …. good ,bad ,very good , very bad …… there will be all kind of situations …. we have no control over it ……
the only thing we can do is …. what ever may be the situation …. we shd be strong … we shd be hard … we shd give our 100% ….. our best shot in any situation …
we should never give up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
